| |
Internationalization (I18N) is the process of ensuring at a technical/design level that a product can be
easily localized. Product may need some design or engineering changes in order adapt your design to the
cultural, linguistic, and technical requirements of specific international markets. For example German text
on average uses 1/3rd more characters per words than English. Another example is that design interfaces
must make considerations for right to left scripts, time/date and measuring systems, and double-byte
character sets. |
